Our THYLY commitments

Trust is not something you ask for: it is something you build.

At THYLY, we want cat owners to understand what they are choosing, why they are choosing it and what the limits of a product or piece of advice may be. These commitments define the way we work.

1. Clarity before persuasion

Our priority is to help you make a choice that suits your situation. We prefer a precise explanation to a spectacular promise, and we aim to distinguish genuinely useful features from purely commercial arguments.

2. No promises we cannot support well enough

We avoid presenting benefits as certain when they are not sufficiently documented. A feature such as noise level, battery life, compatibility or a benefit linked to wellbeing should be described with a level of caution that reflects the information actually available.

If we do not know, we would rather say so or avoid turning the information into a sales claim.

3. Higher standards for health-related content

For topics relating to health, hydration or behaviour, we aim to rely on serious veterinary, scientific or institutional sources whenever relevant.

Our guides are for information purposes. They do not replace an examination, diagnosis or recommendations from a veterinarian. When a sign may justify veterinary advice, we prefer to state this clearly.

4. Limits and compatibility are part of the information

A useful product may still not suit every home or every fountain. We therefore aim to specify the dimensions, references, power types, included or non-included accessories and other compatibility information available to us.

If in doubt, contact us before ordering: it is better to check first than to deal with an unsuitable purchase afterwards.

5. Maintenance matters as much as the purchase

A fountain, filter, pump or accessory does not stop at its product page. Cleaning, replacement of consumables, water level, assembly and maintenance can all affect everyday use. That is why we also develop guides dedicated to use and care.

6. A coherent selection rather than an endless catalogue

We do not want to add products simply to create the impression of more choice. Before expanding THYLY, we aim to understand the need a category addresses and how we can genuinely help customers choose.

Our criteria include usefulness, clarity of product information, everyday use, maintenance, compatibility and the availability of consumables when they are needed.

7. Correcting information is better than leaving it approximate

Product information, recommendations and knowledge can evolve. If we identify an error or wording that deserves clarification, our principle is to correct it rather than leave it unchanged for convenience.

8. Being useful even before a purchase

You can use THYLY guides to understand a topic, compare solutions or maintain equipment without having to buy anything. We want our content to have value in its own right.

9. Remaining available after the order

A question about installation, maintenance, a filter, a part or compatibility? Our customer service remains available after purchase. We want to build a lasting relationship rather than a one-off transaction.

Our simplest commitment

We would rather help you choose better than push you to buy.
